McDowell Co. man wins $100K from lottery scratch-off
FOREST CITY, N.C. (WSPA) — A man scored $100,000 after buying a lottery ticket from a Forest City convenience store.
Corey Webb of Nebo purchased a $30 200X The Cash scratch-off from Mt. Vernon Cubbard on Ludlow Road.
After stopping by the North Carolina Education Lottery headquarters, Webb brought home around $72,018 after taxes.
Approximately $15 million raised by the lottery helped aid McDowell County in building the new Old Fort Elementary School.
