Lotto results: National Lottery prize draw sees jackpot roll over to Saturday
The results for Wednesday’s Lotto are in – here are the mid-week winning numbers as Saturday’s estimated prize pot is revealed.
Lotto players will be gearing up for another rollover draw on Saturday (May 9) after no single player scooped Wednesday night’s jackpot. An estimated £3.9 million will be up for grabs this weekend after no ticket matched the six numbers drawn in the National Lottery‘s midweek event.
However, two players did become millionaires after matching five numbers and the bonus ball, picking up a £1 million prize. And a total of 25 players won £1,750 each after matching five out of the six numbers.
The winning Lotto numbers on Wednesday were 07, 31, 33, 37, 39, 56 and the bonus number was 20.
In Lotto HotPicks, which uses the same numbers as the Lotto draw, no one matched all five numbers to scoop the £350,000 prize but three players matched four numbers to win £13,000.
The winning Thunderball numbers were 02, 12, 19, 24, 39 and the Thunderball number was 12. No player scooped the top prize of £500,000 by matching all five numbers plus the Thunderball, but three matched the five numbers required to win £5,000.
Players will now be looking towards the EuroMillions draw on Friday (May 8) and the Saturday Lotto event for their next chance to win big.
