Players are being urged to check their tickets
Two Lotto players in two different counties are being urged to check their tickets after both bagged an impressive five figure prize in the midweek draw.
The Dublin and Westmeath players each scooped up €18,421 after they each matched five numbers and the bonus in Wednesday night’s, July 1, Lotto draw. The numbers in Wednesday night’s Lotto draw were: 22, 27, 31, 33, 36, 38 and the Bonus was 12.
The Dublin player purchased their winning Quick Pick ticket on the day of the draw from Spar, 1 Dorset Street Lower, Dublin. The Westmeath player purchased their Quick Pick ticket on Tuesday, 30th June, from Circle K, N4 (East), Clongowney, Dublin Rd, Mullingar, Westmeath.
National Lottery spokesperson Darragh O’Dwyer said: “It was a fantastic night for Lotto players, with two players in Dublin and Westmeath each winning €18,421 after matching five numbers and the bonus in Wednesday night’s draw.
“We are encouraging all of our players who purchased tickets at Spar on Dorset Street Lower in Dublin 1 and Circle K, N4 East in Mullingar to check their tickets carefully today.
“If you are the winning ticketholder, sign the back of your ticket and contact our Prize Claims team so arrangements can be made for you to collect your prize!”
The Dublin and Westmeath ticketholders are advised to sign the back of their tickets and contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie. Arrangements will then be made for them to collect their prize at Lottery Headquarters.
Meanwhile, as there was no winner of the €5,497,742 jackpot on offer in last night’s Lotto draw, Saturday’s jackpot is now set to roll towards an estimated €6 million.
Players dreaming of weekend celebrations are reminded that tickets can be purchased in-store, through the National Lottery app or here ahead of the 7.45pm cut-off time for sales on Saturday evening.
