The massive jackpot was the third win for Dublin so far in 2026
National Lottery bosses have revealed the shop where the €3.3 million jackpot winning ticket was sold in Dublin.
The ticket, worth a staggering €3,369,310, won the August 12 Lotto jackpot on Wednesday night. It was sold on the day of the draw in Circle K Kennelsfort in Palmerstown, Dublin 20.
It’s the third jackpot winning ticket to be sold in Dublin this year. There have been five jackpot winning tickets overall in Ireland in 2026, with the other two sold in Mayo and Offaly.
The winning numbers for Wednesday night, August 12, Lotto draw were 02, 07, 11, 13, 17, 33 and the bonus was 01.
On Thursday, Darragh O’Dwyer from the National Lottery said: “Wednesday night was already shaping up to be a memorable occasion as people across Ireland gathered to watch the solar eclipse, but for one Dublin Lotto player it became a truly unforgettable night. While many were focused on a rare event in the sky, a Dublin player became Ireland’s newest millionaire with a Lotto jackpot win worth €3,369,310!
“And that wasn’t the only big win of the night. A player in Co. Wexford also enjoyed a stellar result after matching five numbers and the bonus to win €191,677! We are now encouraging all Dublin and Wexford players to check their tickets carefully and, if you’re holding the winning ticket, be sure to sign the back of it and get in touch with our prize claims team.”
