July off to a flying start for lucky Limerick EuroMillions winner

A lucky Limerick lottery player has kicked off July in style after scooping a €15,690 windfall in Tuesday night’s EuroMillions draw.

The winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased on the day of the draw, June 30th, at Centra in Monaleen. 

The ticketholder successfully matched five numbers to secure the prize.

National Lottery spokesperson Emma Monaghan urged local players to double-check their wallets and handbags.

“It is shaping up to be an exciting week with a Limerick EuroMillions player now €15,690 richer,” she said. “We are encouraging all of our players who purchased tickets at Centra Monaleen to check their tickets carefully today.”

The National Lottery advised the winner to sign the back of their ticket immediately and contact the Prize Claims team.
