In both the men’s and women’s competition, there is a total purse of $20,000 on the line at the Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest. The winner takes home half of that money.

Chestnut will make $10,000 for winning the 2026 Nathan’s Hot Dog Eating Contest, with the prize money remaining the same as past years. Here are all of the payouts for the 2026 competition.
