A New Jersey lottery player won a $3.28 million Jersey Cash 5 jackpot on Wednesday, May 6.
The winning ticket worth $3,280,313 was sold in Hudson County, the New Jersey Lottery announced on Thursday.
The lottery player purchased it at the Te-Amo store (Mirali Corporatio) on Paterson Plank Road in Secaucus. The retailer earns a $2,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
The Jersey Cash 5 winning numbers for May 6 were: 02, 18, 19, 31 and 42 with Bullseye 42 and XTRA 04.
Also, 65 players matched four out of five balls and the Bullseye to win $500 each with 17 of those increasing their prizes to $2,000 with the XTRA.
The Jersey Cash 5 jackpot will be $150,000 for the Thursday drawing.
Jersey Cash 5 is a daily lottery draw game from the New Jersey Lottery. Players pick five numbers between 1 and 45 and can add the Xtra for a chance to increase non-jackpot prizes by up to five times. The Bullseye gives players another chance to win. Drawings are held seven days a week at 10:57 p.m.
$172,485 won in Bergen County
A lottery player in Bergen County won $172,485 playing Quick Draw Progressive on Thursday, May 7.
The winning ticket, which was 30% of the jackpot, was sold at Sweet Shop on Shaler Boulevard in Ridgefield.
The current Quick Draw jackpot is estimated at $404,000.
