The conditions for participating in the DV-2027 program are becoming stricter

Participants in the Green Card DV-2027 lottery note that the application process has become more complicated. Now, in addition to providing passport details, it is necessary to upload a scan of the page with the photo and signature.

Furthermore, a new fee of $1 has been introduced for submitting the application.

There have also been changes in legal terminology: instead of the terms “gender” and “age,” stricter definitions are now used — “biological sex” and “date of birth.” The instructions for consuls have added the word “shall,” which reduces flexibility in the process of verifying information.
