Grandmother from Norfolk bags life-changing lottery win
A grandmother from Norfolk has bagged a huge prize in a lottery win.
She landed her £1m prize after matching the EuroMillions UK Million Maker code on a Lucky Dip ticket on July 10.
The mystery woman is now planning to put her life-changing prize towards a number of treats and plans for the future, including buying a new lawnmower and possibly moving house.
“I felt very shaky; I had to call my mum,” she said.
“I am looking forward to treating my family and making some exciting plans for the future.”
Penny Yeates, winners’ advisor at Allwyn, operator of The National Lottery, said: “Congratulations to our lucky Norfolk winner.
“It’s fantastic to see a regular EuroMillions Lucky Dip player land £1m.
“We hope she enjoys treating her family and making the most of her fantastic win.”
The EuroMillions is a multi-national European lottery where players pick five main numbers from 1 to 50 and two Lucky Star numbers from 1 to 12.
Draws take place every Tuesday and Friday in Paris and tickets cost £2.50 per line in the UK.
