Florida Mega Millions Ticket Wins $800 Million Jackpot in Bradenton | NewsRadio WFLA | Florida News

Bradenton, FL – A Mega Millions ticket purchased in Florida matched all six winning numbers in Tuesday night’s drawing to claim an estimated $800 million jackpot, according to the Florida Lottery.

The winning ticket was sold at a Wawa convenience store in Bradenton for the July 28 Mega Millions drawing.

The winning numbers were 34, 48, 49, 59, 70, with the Mega Ball 12.

The jackpot has an estimated annuity value of $800 million.

The winner also has the option to receive a one time cash payment estimated at approximately $344.2 million before federal taxes.

Florida does not tax lottery winnings at the state level.

Lottery officials have not released information about the winner.

Florida law, the identity of winners claiming prizes of $250,000 or more remains confidential for 90 days after the prize is claimed, giving winners time to seek financial and legal guidance before their names become public.

According to Mega Millions officials, the jackpot is the largest won in 2026 and ranks among the 10 largest prizes in the game’s history.

The win also marks Florida’s sixth Mega Millions jackpot winner since the state joined the game in 2013.

Tuesday’s drawing ended a stretch of 38 consecutive drawings without a jackpot winner.

In addition to the grand prize ticket, nearly 646,000 winning tickets were sold across the country in various prize tiers.

The next Mega Millions drawing will feature the game’s reset jackpot after the $800 million prize was claimed by the Florida ticket holder.
