A Florida man claimed a whopping $21.5 million lotto jackpot.
The Florida Lottery announced that 61-year-old Primitivo Batista, of Clermont, claimed the $21.5 million Florida Lotto jackpot.
The Central Florida man chose to receive his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $11,750,158.50.
The Lake County winner purchased his winning ticket from BJ’s Wholesale Club, located at 2577 S. U.S. Highway 27 in Clermont.
The Florida Lottery announced this month that he claimed the big winning jackpot from the February 4, 2026 drawing at the Lottery’s Orlando District Office.
Since its inception in 1988, Florida Lotto has awarded more than $11 billion in prizes, created 1,108 millionaires, and generated over $8.63 billion for the state’s Educational Enhancement Trust Fund (EETF).
