The Florida Lottery has published a report on its biggest winners for March. As usual, the publication comes 90 days after the wins, allowing the lottery to disclose the winners’ identities.
Sunny Isles Woman Secured $10,000 a Week for Life
The first big winner for March was Monica Rubio, a 49-year-old woman from Sunny Isles. According to lottery officials, she won a top prize from the $10,000 A Week For Life scratch-off game.
The lottery noted that Rubio visited the Florida Lottery’s district office in Miami on March 10. She opted to receive her winnings as a one-time lump sum payment. As a result, she took home some $7,752,000.
The winning ticket was purchased from Publix, located at 14641 Biscayne Boulevard in North Miami Beach.

Beverly Hills Woman Won $2,500 a Week for Life
In the meantime, Cynthia Price, a 68-year-old woman from Beverly Hills, claimed the top prize from $2,500 A Week For Life, another similar scratch-off game. As the title suggests, the $5 tickets provide players with a shot at a prize of $2,500 a week for life.
However, like many other winners, Price opted to receive the lump sum payment of $1,949,000 when visiting the Lottery HQ in Tallahassee on March 19. For reference, the winning ticket was purchased from 7-Eleven, located at 3045 W. Norvell Bryant Highway in Lecanto.

DeFuniak Springs Man Took Home $5M
The final big winner for March was identified as Paul Cich, 61, of DeFuniak Springs. This player secured a life-changing $5 million prize from the 200X The Cash scratch-off game. He visited the Florida Lottery HQ in Tallahassee on March 27, opting to take his winnings as a one-time lump sum of $2,779,400.
The lottery clarified that Cich bought his winning ticket from Tom Thumb, located at 1966 U.S. 90 W. in DeFuniak Springs.
