East Sussex neighbours share £1m lottery win

A mum-of-two and a recently-engaged couple are among eleven neighbours planning how to spend a windfall after they shared a £1m lottery win.

Ten of the residents of the village of Catsfield, East Sussex, received £83,333 in the People’s Postcode Lottery. Another person with two tickets won £166,666 of the Millionaire Street prize.

Mark Holman, 38, and his fiancé Laura Lansdale, got engaged at Christmas and are putting some of the money towards their wedding in May.

Holman told Danny Pike on BBC Radio Sussex: “It means we can actually have a honeymoon, which we weren’t actually planning.”
