Lottery Jackpot Winner

Deadline looms to claim winning EuroMillions ticket bought in Watford

The £177,547.30 prize is at risk of going unclaimed, with the lucky ticketholder having until July 15 to come forward.

The ticket was purchased in the town on January 16, with the winner matching five numbers and one Lucky Star.

The winning EuroMillions numbers were 5, 17, 24, 29, 50 and the Lucky Star numbers were 5 and 10.

It is unclear where exactly the ticket was purchased, as the National Lottery does not disclose this information.

Speaking earlier this year, Andy Carter, senior winners advisor at Allwyn, the Watford-based operator of The National Lottery, said: “This is a public service announcement to the good people of Watford as someone in the surrounding area has had an incredible start to the year and they don’t even know it!

“A six-figure win is incredible and it’s our job to unite the lucky winner with their prize money! Imagine having an extra £177k in your bank account – all it would take is for that one lucky ticket holder to check their ticket.”

If the jackpot remains unclaimed, the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.
