WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — A lucky winner found themselves tens of thousands of dollars richer in April.
Willie D. didn’t rely on any personal lucky numbers, opting instead to let the numbers fall where they may — and it paid off.
The $1 random play for DC 5’s won him $50,000. Because he also received a 20% Straight Bet Bonus, he won a total of $60,000.
Now $60,000 richer, the D.C. native told DC Lottery he is focused on growing his nest egg and kicking back in retirement.
