Clinton lottery player wins $1M, several more winners across the state

JACKSON, Miss. (WLBT) – Twelve Mississippi Lottery players are set to share $1.8 million after turning non-winning scratch-off tickets into big prizes in the Lottery’s latest 2nd Chance promotional drawing, held July 7, the Mississippi Lottery Corporation said.

Winners will be notified by certified mail, according to the Lottery.

The biggest prize, $1,000,000, was awarded to a Clinton player.

• Jackson: $25,000 — $2 Cruisin’ the Coast IV; bought at The Mississippi Lottery Corp (Flowood)
• Jackson: $20,000 — $2 Triple Play; bought at Fuel Time #7
• Moss Point: $20,000 — $2 Easy as 1,2,3; bought at Clark Oil Company #38 (Pascagoula)
• Greenville: $20,000 — $2 Bronze 7s; bought at Double Quick #85
• Shannon: $20,000 — $2 Cash Craze; bought at Verona Ecig & Smoke Shop (Verona)
• Grenada: $20,000 — $2 $20,000 Jackpot; bought at Walmart Superstore #1074

Jackpot update

With no jackpot winner in the latest Mega Millions drawing, the jackpot has climbed to an estimated $604 million (estimated cash value $266.3 million) for Friday’s drawing.

Other jackpot estimates include:

• Powerball: $434 million (cash value $194.7 million)
• Lotto America: $32.5 million (cash value $14.58 million) — the Lottery said it would be the game’s third-largest jackpot if hit
• Mississippi Match 5: $58,000
