Cleveland $20M lottery prize? See the actual payout

CLEVELAND (WJW) — The winner of the first-ever Millionaire for Life jackpot has claimed the prize.

A ticket sold at the Giant Eagle store on Edgecliff Avenue in Cleveland matched all six numbers in the April 27 drawing.

The Ohio Lottery announced Thursday that The Angel Trust claimed a $10 million lump-sum payment.

After mandatory federal and state tax withholdings totaling 26.75%, the trust will receive $7.325 million, according to the Ohio Lottery.

Winners of the game can choose between an annuitized prize of $1 million per year for life, which totals $20 million, or a one-time cash payment.

The winning numbers were 4, 15, 19, 21 and 31, with Millionaire Ball number 4.

It was the first grand-prize-winning ticket sold since the multi-state game launched in February.

Tickets are $5 and drawings are daily.
