Check your tickets: Marana, Chandler Powerball wins total $150K

CHANDLER, AZ (AZFamily) — Two Powerball players who bought tickets in Arizona are at least five figures richer and winning big in Wednesday’s drawing.

Arizona Lottery officials said Thursday a winning ticket worth $100,000 was sold at a Fry’s Food Store in Marana at Thornydale Road and Tangerine Road.

The winning Powerball numbers were 12, 32, 45, 50, 58 and Powerball number 2.

The winning ticket matched four of the numbers and the Powerball and had the two-times multiplier. The odds of winning that prize are 1 in 913,129.18.

In the Valley, someone won $50,000 by buying a Powerball ticket at the QuikTrip at McQueen Road and Chandler Boulevard. The ticket matched four of the numbers plus the Powerball but did not have a multiplier.

Players pay an extra $1 for the Powerball Power Play, which multiplies non-jackpot prizes by two, three, four, five or 10 times. Each multiplier is randomly selected before each drawing.

The 10-times multiplier is only active when the advertised jackpot is $150 million or less.

The next Powerball drawing is Saturday, with an estimated jackpot of $119 million.
