Brit EuroMillions winner loses out on £112,000 prize as they miss deadline
A EUROMILLIONS winner has missed out on more than £100,000 – after failing to claim it on time.
The prize will now be passed to a National Lottery-funded project.

A mystery EuroMillions winner failed to collect their staggering £112,091 prize – from a ticket bought in Powys, Wales.
The deadline to make a valid claim passed on midnight June 10, more than 180 days after the draw on December 12, 2025.
Despite extensive coverage of the approaching deadline, there was no claim made to accept the money.
This led National Lottery operator, Allwyn, to void it.
Andy Carter, senior winners’ adviser at Allwyn, the operator of The National Lottery, said: “Time has now run out for this unclaimed EuroMillions prize, and despite all our efforts to find the ticket-holder, no valid claim was made before the deadline.
“It’s incredibly disappointing that this life-changing opportunity has been missed.
“However, the money from this prize, along with the interest it has generated, will now go on to support National Lottery-funded projects, helping to make a difference to communities across the UK, including in and around the Powys area.”
The money will now go on to support a number of National Lottery-funded projects, including Radnorshire Wildlife Trust and The Game Change Project.
Each week, players help generate around £33million for National Lottery-funded projects.
This is not the only time a Brit has failed to claim a substantial amount of money.
In May, a mystery EuroMillions ticket holder missed out on a £1 million prize after also failing to accept it.
