A Publix and a South Florida gas station produced 2 of Wednesday’s lottery hits

Wednesday’s three big money Florida Lottery draw games — Powerball, Florida Lotto, Fantasy 5 — produced three winners, although the symmetry wasn’t perfect.

Nobody got all the necessary numbers for Powerball, so that’ll be a $707 million jackpot Saturday. The Florida Lotto top prize also escaped all players.

A pair of gas station players split the Fantasy 5 evening draw, which came up 16, 22, 23, 25 and 28. The player with a free Quick Ticket from a West Palm Beach BP station, 4415 Broadway Ave., and the player who chose those numbers at a New Port Richey Shell/Circle K, 6427 State Rd. 54, each won $56,210.

Earlier Wednesday, the $54,033 Fantasy 5 midday jackpot went solely to the Lakeland Publix shopper who chose 3, 6, 15, 27 and 29 at 3636 Harden Blvd., four miles from Publix’s home office.

These tickets must be cashed at one of the Florida Lottery district offices.
