A Powerball player in Bossier City is now $150,000 richer after buying or claiming a winning ticket on Saturday.
According to the Louisiana Lottery, someone bought or claimed $150,000 in the Powerball draw game from the Barksdale Stop N Go at 5412 Barksdale Blvd on Saturday.
A Powerball ticket is $2 each, but you can pay an extra dollar for Power Play. This person used the 3X Power Play, taking their prize of $50,000 to $150,000.
The odds of winning the $50,000 ticket are 1 in 913,129. Powerball drawings are held every Wednesday and Saturday.
