A $3 million Mega Millions prize is waiting for a lucky Iowa Lottery winner to claim it — if the owner realizes they have the winning ticket in the first place.

The winning ticket was purchased at Kwik Star, 1200 Chatham Ave. in Norwalk, for the Nov. 11 drawing.

The winning ticket was sold during a popular streak for Mega Millions, with the jackpot reaching $980 million in the Nov. 14 drawing.

The Norwalk ticket was just one of three in the country to win a prize of $3 million or more in the Nov. 11 drawing.

What were the winning Mega Millions numbers on Nov. 11?

The winning numbers that night were 10-13-40-42-46 and Mega Ball 1.

The ticket sold in Norwalk matched the first five numbers, missing only the Mega Ball to win the $3 million prize.

How to claim a Mega Millions jackpot in Iowa

The holder of the winning Mega Million ticket will need to claim it at the Iowa Lottery’s main office in Clive. All prizes over $250,000 have to be claimed at the main office.
