A winning Powerball ticket worth $50,000 was sold at a Rochester-area supermarket, according to the New York Lottery.

Lottery officials said that the third-prize-level ticket was one of two sold in New York state for the Powerball drawing on Wednesday, May 27. The local winning ticket was sold at Wegmans, 3175 Chili Ave., Chili. One other ticket, also worth $50,000 was sold at a deli in the Bronx, according to the New York Lottery.

Currently, the estimated Powerball jackpot is at $172 million, with a cash payout value of $75.6 million, according to the Powerball lottery website.
