This weekend, The Lottery Winners will play their biggest ever UK headline show with special guests Frank Turner, and Reverend and the Makers
This weekend will see Leigh legends, The Lottery Winners headlining Leigh Sports Village Stadium, as they play a huge homecoming show – their biggest headline gig ever.
The 12,000-capacity stadium, which is home to the Leigh Leopards rugby league club as well as Manchester United’s Women’s and Under 21s football clubs, will host gigs from Billy Ocean and Lottery Winners on Friday and Saturday.
The Leigh band, who have supported the likes of Robbie Williams on tour, will be joined by a host of superstar names for the special gig, including Reverend and the Makers and Frank Turner.

The four-piece broke onto the music scene with their first album six years ago. They have since gone on to achieve two number one albums in the UK, worked with the likes of Shaun Ryder and Stephen Fry, and supported Robbie Williams on a huge international tour.
Made up of vocalist Thom Rylance, guitarist Robert Lally, bassist Katie Lloyd and drummer Joe Singleton, the homegrown band will play the venue on Saturday, May 30, 2026 with support from Scouting For Girls, The Lilacs and DJ Katie Owen.
Speaking previously, Thom Rylance of Lottery Winners said: “Leigh Sports Village isn’t just another show for us, it’s a marker of everything we’ve worked for. From loading gear into pubs to travelling the world, every step has led here. To headline a stadium at home is rare, and we don’t take that lightly. This night will stand as proof of what’s possible when you keep on keeping on.
“Headlining Leigh Sports Village is special in itself but doing it here in our hometown – surrounded by the people who’ve supported us from the very start – makes it truly unforgettable. The fact that we get to welcome legends and friends like Frank Turner, Reverend and the Makers and Scouting for Girls to our town feels incredible. It’s Leigh opening its doors to the world, and we’re proud to be the ones hosting.”

Parking
Ahead of the shows this week, fans attending the show have been advised to make travel arrangements in advance. Whilst the stadium does usually have free on-site car parking, these will not be available during the Billy Ocean and Lottery Winners shows.
Instead, on-site car parking will only be available to VIP ticket holders and those requiring accessible spots. As a result, the closest public parking to the stadium for concertgoers will be at Pennington Flash Nature Reserve.
A designated car park will be set up at the reserve for both shows, and will be available on a pre-booked system. Spots cost £17.50 per vehicle with the car park open from 2pm for attendees on the day of each concert.
This means the standard reserve’s car park site for visitors will close at 1pm and only those with a show ticket will be able to remain.
Public access to the car park will close at midnight on each show day. Cars must leave the parking site by 12pm the following day otherwise a £50 exit fee will be applied.
A limited number of car parking spaces will be available on each show date, but these will cost £20 per vehicle and will be strictly limited to a first come first served basis.
The car park is located a five-minute walk from the stadium, with a well-lit walking route to Leigh Sports Village in place. The route will also be signposted and stewarded before and after each concert. The reserve’s Hide Café will also be open until around midnight for drinks, snacks and toilet facilities.
For those not wanting to use the Pennington Flash Nature Reserve car parking facilities, there are also numerous pay-and-display car parks situated throughout Leigh town centre, which is up to a 15-minute walk away. There is also additional off-site parking at Leigh Miners RLFC (WN7 4EF) and Leigh RUFC (WN7 3NA) but spaces are limited and charges will vary.
