LaPorte Powerball winner splits $143 million jackpot with Kansas winner

LAPORTE, Ind. (WSBT) — One person in LaPorte will split the Powerball jackpot with another lottery player in Kansas.
The winning ticket was sold at Al’s Supermarket on Lincolnway in LaPorte.
The Powerball jackpot is worth $143 million, and the jackpot will be split nearly $72 million for the two winners.
The drawing also had 19 other winning tickets sold in Indiana worth at least $1 million.
Some of the winning tickets were sold in Michigan City, South Bend, Fort Wayne and Warsaw.
This is the first Powerball jackpot in Indiana since 2017.
The winning numbers from Wednesday’s drawing are 3-19-35-51-67 with the Powerball of 15.

You’ll have to go to the payment center, which is in Mishawaka.
This office does not take appointments.
You’ll need the winning ticket and a valid form of I-D.
Taxes will be taken out 24% for winning more than $5,000.
The name and address of winners are considered public record so that information can be released.
