Winning lottery ticket sold in Harrison County

SHINNSTON, W.Va – A $2 million winning Powerball ticket was sold in the Harrison County community of Shinnston.
The ticket, matching five numbers with the “Power Play” option selected increased the $1 million prize into a $2 million jackpot.
The ticket was sold at the Go-Mart in Shinnston.
“This is an incredible win for one of our players and another exciting moment for West Virginia Lottery draw games,” Deputy Director of Marketing Danielle Snidow said. “Adding the Power Play option made a life-changing difference for this winner, and we encourage all players to check their tickets carefully. As always, we remind everyone to play responsibly.”
Officials advise the ticket holder to sign the back and contact the West Virginia Lottery office at 304-558-0500 for instructions on how to claim.
