Cumbrian street wins £1,000 prize in People’s Postcode Lottery draw

Those with a lottery ticket and a CA13 9FB postcode were awarded a £1,000 win in today’s daily prize draw.

The winning postcode belongs to the People’s Postcode Lottery players who live on Simonscales Lane.

Subscriptions to the postcode lottery supports a range of charities across the UK.

A minimum of 30 per cent of the ticket prices goes to charity.

The Postcode Lottery website states: “Not only do our players win cash prizes, but good causes also receive essential support.”

To date, they’ve raised more than £1.5 billion in funding.
