Lucky Lincolnshire residents celebrate £12.3m Postcode Lottery win
Hundreds of Lincolnshire neighbours are celebrating after landing a £12.3m lottery prize.
Players in the LN12 2 postcode area, which covers Sutton-on-Sea and Trusthorpe, will be sharing the impressive Postcode Lottery prize.
Ticketholders will be able to find out exactly how much they have won during the two-hour celebration at King George V Playing Fields, the home of Sutton Rovers Football Club, on Saturday, April 25.
Although the organisation has confirmed they can all expect to take home cheques of at least £2,000.
The winners will be receiving their invitations from Tuesday, April 21, and the full winning postcode will also be revealed at the event.
Anyone playing with this postcode will win the largest cash prizes.
Postcode Lottery ambassadors Matt Johnson, Judie McCourt and Danyl Johnson will also be at the event to reveal cheques and celebrate with winners.
Matt said: “I’m thrilled to be heading to the seaside again to celebrate a multi-million-pound Postcode Lottery prize.
“It’s set to be a fabulous day for hundreds of neighbours, and the excitement is really building. Saturday can’t come soon enough.”
So far Postcode Lottery players have helped raise more than £1.7 billion for thousands of charities just by playing.
This includes a much-loved local charity, Acts Trust, which has received £120,000 thanks to players.
The Lincoln charity runs several vital community services, including a foodbank, community grocery and community cafés.
