Residents on 2 streets celebrate the start of the week with a win on the lottery

Neighbours along a stretch of Belmont Road were among the winners, with the BL1 7AR postcode named as one of 19 across the UK to receive the lottery’s daily prize.
All ticket holders in the winning postcode are entitled to £1,000 each.
But they were not the only local winners celebrating today.
Residents on Lever Edge Lane in Great Lever also scooped the daily prize, with the BL3 3HU postcode included in today’s draw, marking a double win for the borough.
The win comes after residents on a street in Farnworth bagged a whopping £83,000 a piece on the People’s Postcode Lottery.
Postcode Lottery is a subscription-based lottery that raises money for charities.
Not only do participants win cash prizes, but good causes also receive essential support.
Your postcode works as your ticket. For £12.50 a month, you are entered into every prize draw, with guaranteed winners every day.
Players use their chosen postcode and are automatically entered into all draws.
Prizes include the weekly Millionaire Street prize and monthly £250,000 or Postcode Millions prizes.
If your postcode is selected in the £250,000 prize, for example, every ticket in that postcode wins £250,000.
Every day, there are £1,000 prizes to be won for every ticket in 20 postcodes.
If you play with two tickets, you receive double the prize amount.
Players have raised more than £1.7 billion for thousands of good causes in Britain and internationally, supporting charities including Maggie’s, Alzheimer’s Society, Dogs Trust, Mind and NSPCC, as well as thousands of small local community projects.
