Winning numbers in $40m Powerball revealed
Australia’s next Powerball draw will carry the second biggest jackpot of the year so far, after the top Division One prize went unclaimed once again.
For the fourth week in the row, the Division One prize – which sat at $40m – was jackpotted following Thursday night’s draw, after no lucky winners were found.
It means that next Thursday, ticketholders will be vying for a life-changing $60m – the second biggest prize of any Australian lottery in 2026.
However, Division Two, the prize for matching all seven numbers without the Powerball, produced two lucky winners – each receiving a six-figure sum not to be sniffed out.
One Division Two victor in South Australia and one in NSW will wake up to an extra $369,858.25 in their bank accounts.
Drawn on Thursday evening, the weekly lottery also produced 59 Division Three prize winners, each claiming $15,507.
But the lack of Division One winners means the jackpot, which has not been won since April 23, rolls over once again.
This evening’s numbers, in numerical order, were,: 1, 13, 15, 16, 29, 32 and 34.
The Powerball was 6.
