$1M Powerball ticket sold in Georgia

LOS ANGELES – There were no tickets sold with all six numbers in the latest drawing of the multi-state Powerball lottery, pushing the estimated jackpot for Monday’s drawing to $100 million.

A ticket with five numbers, but missing the Powerball number, was sold in Georgia and is worth $1 million, the Multi-State Lottery Association, which conducts the game, announced.

The numbers drawn Saturday were 8, 37, 40, 44, 65 and the Powerball number was 18. The estimated jackpot was $89 million.
