£1m Bournemouth Euromillions winner misses ticket claim deadline

The winning Euromillions ticket was bought for the draw on Tuesday, November 4 and the winner had until Sunday, May 3 to claim their prize.

However, the winner failed to meet the deadline of midnight on Sunday and the winnings from the Millionaire Maker prize will now be passed onto benefit National Lottery-funded projects.

The National Lottery gives winners 180 days to claim their prize from the day of draw.

Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at Allwyn, operator of the National Lottery, said: “Despite an extensive search for the mystery millionaire, I can confirm that the ticket-holder did not come forward to claim their EuroMillions prize and has unfortunately missed out on this life-changing sum of money.

“However, the money will now benefit Good Causes and add to the £33M raised each week for National Lottery-funded projects, several of which can be found in surrounding the Bournemouth area.”
