Two lottery winners in Jefferson County over the weekend

ADAMS, New York (WWNY) – Two top-prize winning lottery tickets were found in Jefferson County Saturday.

Winning the New York Lottery Take-5 drawing in Adams Saturday night, two people took home $6,300 each.

One was found at the Stewart’s shop along Route 11 in Adams, the other at the Kinney Drugs also on Route 11.

The New York Lottery says about 1 in 9 people win.

Three other top-prize tickets were sold in New York Saturday in Manhattan, Niagara Falls, and Rego Park.

That means all in, nearly $31,500 worth of winnings was found in New York yesterday.
