One person in this suburb is $1.8 million richer, they just don’t know it yet
A Sydney lottery player is currently walking around with a $1.8 million winning ticket in their pocket – and they don’t even know it yet.
The ticket was sold in Belmore, and officials are urging Saturday Lotto players in the area to check their entries for the division one prize.

It was one of two division one entries from Saturday Lotto draw 4687 on June 20, with each winner taking home $1,818,181.82.
Belmore Newsagency on Burwood Road sold the winning ticket. But since it wasn’t registered to a player account, lottery officials have no way of contacting the winner directly.
“We’re encouraging anyone who purchased a Saturday Lotto ticket from Belmore Newsagency to check their tickets today,” Lott spokesperson Khat McIntyre said.
While the Belmore prizewinner is yet to come forward, a Merrylands woman who also pocketed $1.8 million has already celebrated the news with her husband.
“When I checked my ticket on Sunday morning, I couldn’t even process it,” she said.
“We had a bottle of bubbles to celebrate, but other than that, we’ve just been going on with our daily life because it’s barely sunk in.
“Something we’ve always wanted to do is buy a house and now we can! It’s incredible.”
Across Australia, there were 11 division one winning entries in Saturday Lotto draw 4687, including four in New South Wales, three in Western Australia, two in Victoria and one each in Queensland and South Australia.
The winning numbers were 45, 12, 17, 3, 11 and 14, while the supplementary numbers were 32 and 21.
