$40 million LottoMax jackpot winner in Quebec – Island Social Trends

The Friday June 26 Lotto Max draw has produced a $40 million jackpot winner in Quebec.
There were also six MaxPlus winners of $100,000 each across the country.
There was no big half-million dollar winner for the Extra.
Main draw winning numbers:
The main draw winning numbers for the June 26, 2026 Lotto Max were 05, 06, 16, 30, 33, 43 and 51. Bonus 35.
For matching all seven numbers, someone in Quebec won the $40 million jackpot.
No one matched 6/7 numbers plus the bonus (that prize would have been $198,165.20), but there were 40 lucky winners of $5,047.90 each across Canada for matching six of seven numbers without the bonus.
The Extra:
The Extra winning numbers for the June 26, 2026 Lotto Max were 18, 46, 55, and 98.
The Extra prize breakdown saw 40 winners of $1,000 each for matching 3 out of 4 numbers.
MaxPlus:
The MaxPlus results in the June 26, 2026 Lotto Max draw produced six winners: three in Quebec, and one each in Ontario, Atlantic Canada and Western Canada (Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba).

People play the lottery with of course the hope of winning big.
Today’s ‘affordability’ challenges (i.e. unaffordability) continue to mount as the cost of everything increases (including embedded costs like interest, insurance and transportation/fuel) but for most people income does not keep up.
