Winning Lotto and Thunderball numbers for Wednesday, July 16, 2025

There is a £5.2m double rollover jackpot available tonight. There is also the Thunderball draw with a £500,000 top prize

A double rollover jackpot in the National Lottery Lotto could see a huge £5.2m pay out tonight (Wednesday, July 16). The prize pot has grown after previous draws failed to get a winner.

Players across the country will be hoping for better luck tonight when the balls are drawn. Banking £5.2m would be a life-changing event that would fire the starting pistol on a first-class life of luxury and travel.

All that stands between players and the fortune are six main numbers, get those and stake a claim on the prize pot. Five main numbers and the bonus ball equals an impressive £1m, with other cash prizes for matching three or more main numbers.

We’ll have the winning numbers below as the draw is made. Play responsibly and good luck!

Wednesday’s winning numbers on July 16

Tonight’s winning Lotto numbers: 6, 9, 12, 15, 47, 55. Bonus ball: 56

Winning Thunderball numbers: 8, 9, 18, 24, 37. Thunderball: 4

Wednesday update

Saturday’s lottery jackpot will be an estimated £7.2m after no players won Wednesday’s top prize. No players matched all six main numbers, meaning no-one took home the jackpot, and no ticket holders won £1 million by matching five of the six numbers plus the bonus ball.

No Thunderball ticket holders won £500,000 by matching all five numbers plus the Thunderball. But one player matched all five regular numbers and bagged £5,000.

It costs £2 per ticket to play Lotto. You can buy a ticket throughout the week and on draw days – Saturday and Wednesday – until 7.30pm.

And if you want more games to play, there is also EuroMillions every Tuesday and Friday and the Set for Life game on Mondays and Thursdays. While the Thunderball draw takes place ever Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, with that £500,000 top prize.
