What happened on Wednesday

Getting all six main numbers proved elusive in the mid-week game, but six players are £1m better off after matching five out of six numbers and the bonus number.
No one took the £500,000 top Thunderball prize by matching all five numbers plus the Thunderball.
And no player scored the second Thunderball prize of £5,000 by matching five numbers, but 39 ticket-holders won £250 after matching four numbers plus the Thunderball.
To win the Lotto jackpot, players need to get all six main numbers to stake their claim.
If you get five main balls and the bonus ball, you’ll be £1m the richer – with cash prizes for matching three or more balls.
It costs £2 per ticket to play for the Lotto.
