Ohio Lottery winner in Cleveland claims $10 million prize from Millionaire For Life game: See how much they’re getting after taxes
Weeks after the Ohio Lottery announced that one very lucky winner hit the Millionaire For Life jackpot in the April 27 drawing, the prize has now been claimed by a trust.
“The winner chose the one-time cash payment option of $10 million,” according to a press release from the Ohio Lottery. “After mandatory 26.75% federal and state taxes, the trust will receive $7,325,000.”
This was the first Millionaire For Life jackpot winner since the new multi-state lottery game launched in February.
Ohio Lottery officials say the winning ticket was purchased from the Giant Eagle at 15325 Edgecliff Ave. in Cleveland.
The lucky numbers that night were 4, 15, 19, 21, 41. The Millionaire Ball was 4.
Millionaire For Life is offered in 30 states, plus Washington, D.C. Tickets are $5 each with drawings held nightly at 11:15 p.m.
