These NYC affordable housing lotteries are closing soon

NEW YORK (PIX11) — There are a handful of affordable housing lotteries in New York City that are closing very soon.

All of the affordable housing lotteries listed have apartments available for under $1,000 and some even have units with rent under $500.

37th and 1st Apartments – closes Feb. 18

• 650 First Ave. in Manhattan

• Two studio units available for $940 per month

  • Annual household income for two people: $37,989-$51,840

• Three 1-bedroom apartments for $995 per month

  • Annual household income for three people: $40,698-$58,320

Willets Point Commons – closes Feb. 25

• 14 studio units available for $486 per month

  • Annual household income for two people: $20,469-$34,020

• 32 1-bedroom apartments for $617 monthly
