Lucky Essex resident scoops £250k in montly Postcode Lottery draw

The winner, from Harlow, landed the top prize in the monthly draw when their postcode, CM18 7JU, was announced as the winner on May 30.

This is the fourth major Postcode Lottery win in the Harlow area in just over two years.

Postcode Lottery ambassador Matt Johnson said: “I should get a one-way ticket to Harlow, because here we are again with another big prize.

“A huge congratulations to our sole winner this month and I hope they can make lovely memories with their prize.”

Just under two miles from the latest winner, residents in CM18 6ES took home the Millionaire Street prize on Saturday, January 17.

Reg and Lynda Dosell, both 79, shared £1 million with another neighbour, receiving £333,333 each.

That win followed another big jackpot just six weeks earlier, when three Harlow tower block neighbours each won £333,333.

Almost exactly two years before the most recent draw, 11 Harlow residents shared a £1 million prize, just one mile from this month’s winning postcode.

The latest winner has chosen to remain anonymous.

The Postcode Lottery costs £12.50 a month to play.

People play with their chosen postcode and are automatically entered into all draws.
