$25,000 a year for life lottery ticket sold in Kentucky remains unclaimed

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) — Kentucky Lottery officials are urging players to double-check their tickets after a Lucky for Life prize sold in Bowling Green remains unclaimed.
The winning ticket, worth $25,000 a year for life, was sold at Jr Foods on Louisville Road for the Oct. 21, 2025 drawing.
The winning numbers were 8, 9, 15, 31 and 32, with a Lucky Ball of 12.
Lottery officials said because the ticket matched five white ball numbers and the Lucky Ball, securing the game’s second prize.
The winner has 180 days from the drawing date to claim the prize at Kentucky Lottery headquarters in Louisville. The deadline to come forward is April 17, 2026.
If the prize is not claimed, officials said the funds will be transferred to the Kentucky Educational Excellence Scholarship reserve fund.
