April proved to be a remarkably good month for People’s Postcode Players across Wales, with dozens of streets claiming cash prizes. In total, more than 20 postcodes secured a £1,000 windfall, while one exceptionally lucky street hitting the jackpot with a life-altering £125,000 pay-out.
The latest results, spanning draws from April 8 through to May 1, reveal winners distributed widely across towns and villages throughout the nation – from Swansea and Cardiff to Gwynedd and Anglesey. Participants saw their accounts credited simply for entering.
The standout win occurred on April 11 when a postcode in Nebo, Ceredigion, secured the £125,000 top prize, comfortably the largest win during this timeframe, reports Wales Online.
The People’s Postcode Lottery doesn’t just distribute cash prizes, it also funds charitable organisations, with 33% of every £12 monthly subscription directed towards worthy causes.
Participants register using their postcode and are automatically included in daily draws, meaning opportunities to win, and contribute, arise throughout the month. Sign up for the North Wales Live newsletter sent twice daily to your inbox
