$200,000 Powerball Power Play winning ticket sold in Central City
LINCOLN, Neb. (KSNB) – A Powerball ticket bought in Central City just turned into a $200,000 win.
The Nebraska Lottery says one ticket from Saturday night’s $600 million Powerball draw matched four of the five white ball numbers — plus the Powerball.
The ticket was sold at Kwik Stop #09 at 1704 28th Street in Central City.
The winning numbers for the drawing were 03, 04, 24, 36, 47, and the Powerball was 17.
Lottery officials say the player also added the $1 Power Play option — and that’s what made the difference. The ticket would have been worth $50,000, but a 4x Power Play multiplier boosted it to $200,000.
If you’re the one holding that ticket, you have up to 180 days after the draw date to claim your prize. And if it’s $20,000 or more, you’ll need to claim it at lottery headquarters in Lincoln.
Nebraska has offered Powerball since 1994, and the lottery says Powerball sales have helped raise more than $1.092 billion for beneficiary funds that support projects in all 93 counties.
