What were Monday’s Powerball winning numbers? Jackpot now $1.3 billion

The Powerball jackpot continues to rise into life-changing figures, which means more eyes are on the lottery. Here’s your Tuesday morning update.

No one claimed the winning numbers on Monday, Sept. 1, when the jackpot reached $1.1 billion.

Players in Montana and North Carolina won the $2 million prize for Match 5 + Power Play, and players in California, Florida, Kentucky, Maine, Minnesota, New Jersey (2), New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia won the $1 million prize for Match 5.

The jackpot is currently sitting at $1.30 billion with a cash value of $589 million. 

The next drawing is at 10:12 p.m. CT on Wednesday, Sept. 3. Powerball drawings occur every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday.

You can buy Powerball tickets at authorized lottery retailers, like gas stations, convenience stores, and grocery stores. Some states also allow online ticket purchases through official lottery websites or third-party apps like Jackpocket.

The odds of scoring the jackpot prize are 1 in 292,201,338. There’s a 1 in 24.87 chance at any prize, ranging from $4 to the jackpot.
