Search begins for mystery €3.7m Irish Lotto jackpot winner

The search has begun for Ireland’s newest multi-millionaire after the massive Lotto jackpot was won on Saturday night.

One lucky player has secured €3,731,996 after matching all six numbers and the bonus, with the winning combination: 8, 12, 24, 25, 33, 45 and bonus 41.

Over 73,000 players took part across the Lotto and Lotto Plus draws on Saturday, with the exact location of the big winner remaining unknown.

However, National Lottery officials are expected to announce the winner’s county on Sunday.

In the main draw, 18 players won smaller prizes after they matched five numbers to win €1,512 each.

Another 38 players matched four numbers plus the bonus and each claimed €180.

Meanwhile, 79 players won €500 each in the Lotto raffle draw, with the winning number being 7824.

There were no winners of the €1million Lotto Plus 1 top prize or the €250,000 Lotto Plus 2 jackpot.

The Lotto Plus 1 winning numbers were 17, 25, 30, 31, 32, 35 and bonus 14, while the Lotto Plus 2 ones were 8, 20, 34, 42, 45, 46 and bonus 31.

The National Lottery is now urging players to carefully check their tickets to see if they could be the new multi-millionaire.

The lucky winner is advised to contact the National Lottery’s prize claims team and arrangements will be made for them to collect their life-changing jackpot.
