A lucky Connecticut Lottery player is officially a millionaire after claiming a massive Lotto! jackpot.

The $6.8 million prize from the Feb. 3 drawing was claimed at the Connecticut Lottery Corporation Headquarters & Claims Center in Wallingford, lottery officials said.

The winning ticket was sold at Big Y World Class Market on Poquonnock Road in Groton. Lottery authorities did not identify the winner.

The jackpot ranks as the fifth-largest Lotto! prize ever won in Connecticut Lottery history.

The drawing also produced seven more winning tickets that matched five of the six numbers. Each ticket is worth $2,263.

Lottery officials are urging players to check their tickets carefully.

Prizes from the Feb. 3 drawing must be claimed within 180 calendar days of the drawing.
