An eye-watering jackpot of £5.1M could be won tonight just in time for Christmas as a double rollover National Lottery draw takes place on Wednesday (December 17).

To be in with a chance of taking home that life-changing sum, all you need to do is match all six main numbers – but you can also grab some cash by matching just some of the numbers called. Matching five main numbers plus the bonus ball will win players a chunky sum of £1,000,000, whereas matching five main numbers will secure you £1,750.

As always, £500,000 is up for grabs in the Thunderball game taking place at 8:15pm, shortly after the Lotto draw which takes place at 8pm. To be in with a chance of winning, you must have bought a ticket by 7.30pm. Tickets cost £2.

It comes after lucky couple Faye and Richard won £1M in a Lotto draw – seven years after winning £1M in a EuroMillions draw! Courier driver Richard and mental health practitioner Faye, who won £1,000,000 with a winning Millionaire Maker code back in June 2018, have now managed to match five main numbers and the bonus ball in a Lotto draw on November 26, 2025, earning them their second million.
