20 Powerball tickets sold in Indiana won at least $1 million in Wednesday’s drawing — including co-jackpot winner

(WTHR) – Two people are sharing the Powerball jackpot after Wednesday’s drawing.

One of the jackpot-winning tickets was sold in Indiana.

According to the Hoosier Lottery, Indiana’s jackpot-winning ticket was sold at Al’s Supermarket in La Porte.

The co-jackpot winner will now split the $143 million pot, for an estimated cash value of $65.2 million.

In addition to the co-jackpot winner, five tickets purchased in Indiana won $2 million for matching all five numbers plus the Power Play, and another 14 tickets bought in Indiana won $1 million for matching all five numbers.

The winning numbers were 3, 19, 35, 51, 67, and Powerball 15. The Power Play option was 2x.

The $1 million-winning Powerball tickets were sold in the following communities:

• Batesville
• Carmel
• Greenwood
• Eaton  
• Fort Wayne
• Kendallville
• Michigan City
• Noblesville
• South Bend
• Spencer
• Warsaw

The $2-million winning Powerball with Power Play tickets were sold in the following communities:

• Crawfordsville
• Indianapolis (x2)
• North Vernon
• Portage

Wednesday’s Powerball drawing created 91 new millionaires overnight, in what may be the highest number of correct tickets in recent lottery game history.

Alongside the co-jackpot winners, another 89 tickets across 20 states matched all five numbers to win $1 million.

Powerball says 27 of those tickets also had the Power Play option selected, doubling the prize to $2 million.

The Powerball jackpot will now reset to $20 million, with the next drawing happening on Saturday, May 2.

The previous jackpot was won on April 6, with a single ticket in Delaware winning an estimated $231 million jackpot during that drawing.
