Unclaimed $225K winning lottery ticket sold at Hawesville gas station

HAWESVILLE, Ky. (WFIE) – A massive lottery ticket win in Hawesville has gone unclaimed.

The Kentucky Lottery says a winning ticket for the the Cash Ball 225 drawing held Saturday was bought at the Powers Express on Main Street.

Officials say the winning ticket matched all five numbers, winning the game’s $225,000 top prize.

Saturday night’s winning Cash Ball 225 numbers were: 5 – 8 – 30 – 35 Cash Ball 21.

The Kentucky Lottery advises the winner to:

• Sign the back of their tickets.
• Keep them in a secure location.
• Claim their prize within 180 days from the date of the drawing.

According to the Kentucky Lottery, winners must claim their prizes at lottery headquarters at 1011 W. Main St. in Louisville.

Additionally, they’re urged to contact the lottery at 1-877-789-4532 to make an appointment to claim their prize.
