He said the jackpot prize will be split between two winners in Kansas and Indiana, resulting in an estimated cash total of $32.6 million for both winning ticket holders.

Thone told 27 News staff with the Kansas Lottery can’t remember having a night with so many big winners in a single drawing. He said the last Powerball jackpot hit in Kansas was in 2022 for around $90 million.
“We are still buzzing with excitement at the Kansas Lottery this morning,” Thone said in a statement to 27 News. “On top of having the Powerball jackpot hit in the Sunflower State, we also had six different 7 figure prize winners across multiple regions of the state. This is possibly the most big prize winners we’ve ever had in one drawing!”
